Adobe launched their own camera app with a horde of AI-based filters which recognise subjects in photos and suggest filters that can be applied, in real-time. The app lets users preview filters through the view finder and even apply them to images that are already snapped. The company has stated that they have used Sensei, Adobe's AI platform to enable the camera app to accurately suggest appropriate filters. As of now, the app can be sideloaded onto Android phones via the APK which is quite readily available online. The interface of the app is pretty minimalist. The main landing page is the camera viewfinder where you can also access the plethora of filters provided. In the centre is the camera shutter button which is flanked by the filters and gallery buttons. The globe icon on the top left brings you to a repository of additional lenses and filters that are available to download.

The filters provided within the app, as well as the extra ones which are downloadable through the lens library, are extremely fun to interact with. While adobe camera raw some provide superficial improvement, others such as Pop Art, Spectrum and more, completely revamp the look of your photos. The edits are often interesting and visually-appealing. Also, the ability to preview the filters ensures that you are able to adjust the shot in accordance to the filter you've selected or vice versa. The app is currently in the preview phase and seems laggy and the edge detection in the selfie camera filters isn't the best. Still, it provides you with multiple avenues for your pictures to shine on social media. Filters such as 'Starry Sky' let you swap daytime sky for a starry one. Overall, it's a fun, alternative camera app backed by power ful AI which can overhaul the sometimes dreary, photo-shooting process.
